While I was reading the topics and posts on the Tavern, a board in that forum, I saw Sir Chayd's topic about Pinoy Design. Well, I ignored the topic for a few times since I am so not a designer and I don't even have a photoshop. I tried making/modifying graphics through Paint but everything I made stinks. And I got a lot of negative feedbacks from the neopians. (People who play Neopets)
Then one time, when I was really bored, I opened that Pinoy Design thread and saw that people who would like to learn are welcome to the forum too. Since I was a forum addict and I really wanna learn more about photoshop, I registered.
I got the software, then saw some tutorials posted on Pinoy Design and I tried to follow them. And I was really happy when I made my first artwork. Well, it's not really good but it is better compared to my paint stuff.
The coolest thing about the site is that the tutorials are simple and are easy to follow. You can ask questions and other members are always willing to help.
And you wouldn't get bored because not everything in the forum is about designing, you can chat about anything under the sun.
They also have tutorials for other programs, not only photoshop and also some HTML tutorials.
But I have to say that the coolest thing about the site is that you can use your post count to purchase softwares.
